Rihanna was spotted attending the Glamour Magazine 2009 Women of The Year Honors at Carnegie Hall in NYC last week looking absolutely beautiful and stunning. She walked away with Top honors. She wore a shimmery, floor length ivory satin Stephane Rolland gown with a small hip pocket.

Totally love this ensemble. The oversized blazer paired with the black mini shorts and tights looks vair modern and edgy while the horizonatally striped cami gives a bit of texture and breaks up the ensemble a bit. The shiny leather of the shorts gives a modern and interesting twist to everything.
The Christian louboutin peeptoe pumps also give a more dressed up feel to the outfit and are a great choice of shoes as the signature red sole gives a great pop of colour!
I also love the oversized ring – it is just a nice touch to complete the outfit.

I maybe would have liked to see her hair sleeked back into a high ponytail as it would have made everything a little more fashion forward and fresh.

I’m currently eyeing up the feathery courts from Roger Vivier; though, as you would expect from such an impeccably Parisian brand, there is also a very chic design in black patent that goes under the name Belle de Nuit, and looks as if it might have been seen on Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour.
