I am not much of a celebrity watcher. But, as might be expected, I am a shoe-watcher. So, despite my general cluelessness on who’s who these days in Hollywood, I love looking at the fashion photos of red-carpet events like yesterday’s AMA’s.

The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds is a typical chick flick that brings an unlikely pair together in marriage. While the movie was light entertainment, what I loved most was the many little fashion nuggets featured during the movie that will make any fashionista drool! Read on below for a synopsis of The Proposal and my favourite fashion highlights!
Synopsis of The Proposal
Sandra Bullock plays Margaret, a tough and pushy executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, Colden Books, who forces her assistant, Andrew played by Ryan Reynolds, into marrying her to avoid deportation. To keep up pretences, the two are forced to spend a weekend in Andrew’s hometown in Alaska where he turns out to be the “Kennedys of Alaska”! Andrew has a lovely family and his 90-year old Grandma Annie (played by Betty White) steals the show with her fun and charm. When the family suggests they get married that weekend itself, Margaret can’t say no. However, at the wedding itself, she tells the truth and flees. Will she get deported? Will they get married? Watch and see!

Last week you’ve seen the first images of Sarah Jessica Park on set filming Sex and The City 2, more images surfaced the web of her along with Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon. Filming took place in NYC on September 3rd and September 4th, Patricia Field was also spotted on set with the ladies. Some of you guys may remember the Dior Newspaper Dress that Sarah Jessica Parker wore in Season 3, she wore it again! So fab that her body didn’t change much, she still fits the dress ha! And not to mention the shoes are super fab, love the purple studded pumps and those killer Christian Louboutin shoes, and surprisingly the shoes Cynthia wore was pretty fierce too!
